I met Stacie through a recent model call that I held looking for families with small children. After hearing her talk about her girls, I just knew I had to photograph this family. What a treat it was!
As the oldest of four myself, every time I have siblings in front my camera I think back on all the things we did as siblings. I have two sisters of my own and can say without a doubt that sisters are one of my absolute favorites to photograph. These two beauties were no exception.
Sisters… two girls who share one of the strongest bonds. A friendship unique to any other that will last a lifetime. They do not know yet the bond they will have as grown adults or the adventures they will go on together to get there, but their bond is one that will see giggles, tears, frustration, and joy.
Two girls with such joy exuding from their smiles. A connection between sisters is a friendship that will last a lifetime. These two girls have something special that just draws you in to their joyful play. They make you want to be a part of their world. To get down on their level and experience the joy and beauty of seeing things in our own surroundings through the eyes of a child.
I challenge you to do just that. Get down and play with your kids, your nieces, your nephews, and grandbabies; get down on their level. Experience what it is like to see God’s creation on their level and with the eyes of a child.
