This time of year my calendar is typically pretty full between weddings, holiday events, and family sessions. I was elated when Lisa reached out to me for their family session. I’ve known Lisa for a little while now after meeting her through one of our church small groups… a camera club. We’ve chatted a few times about our love for photography and I was super excited when earlier this year Lisa was one of the winners of our raffle drawing for a free family session.

Lisa and Ruben recently announced they are expecting baby #3 and there two older girls were definitely excited to talk about the baby sibling joining their family in April. This was a perfect time to get in some photos for their holiday cards and an opportunity to update their family portraits. We had so much fun just chatting and playing over at Rowlett Creek Nature Preserve which set the absolutely perfect setting for this session. The two girls have beautiful personalities and had so much fun playing through the grass, climbing trees, and playing kiss tag. I can’t wait to meet baby #3 in April and know that this adorable little family will continue to bless us with their contagious smiles, unconditional love, and pure joy for life.
