Dallas| Signature Senior Session | Adriatica Village and Community High School

Senior year of high school is filled with activities. Every single one of my senior brand ambassador parents have mentioned to some degree how there’s always something new weekly that needs to be done for graduation.

While parents are often left with the task of paying for everything (like the cap and gown, invitations, announcements, prom, etc.), the students are making major decisions which will determine the course of their life. Or at least the course of the next couple of years.

Will they go to college? Is it best to start at a junior college or go big and jump into that major 4-year university? What will they major in? What activities will be involved in? Can they get a scholarship?

Our high school senior brand ambassadors are photographed at multiple times through out the year. We give them an opportunity to earn extras like extra fun sessions or even cash.

For Dallas, his final 2 sessions involved his cap and gown session and a sports themed session at his high school baseball field. This young man is moving on to a 4 year university where he plans to study computer engineering. But, he’s not giving up his musical endeavors. In fact, this young man was granted a music scholarship by the university he plans to attend.

The day spent at Adriatica Village was a gorgeous day but the wind gave us a run for our money. Keeping his tassel in place and those honor ribbons were a bit tricky in that wind but we made it work.

Just a few days later, we sent out the baseball fields at Community High and got some amazing images just as a terrible thunderstorm was headed our direction. I’m actually a little surprised that we didn’t have any lightning in our images because it was definitely an electric night.

We managed to squeeze in every last image and just as we were loading up my car with all my lighting equipment, the clouds broke open and the skies began to dump rain on us. Risky to be out in that weather with metal light stands, lights, and battery packs? Um, yes! But, this time it was totally worth the risk!

While we say farewell to Dallas for the year and send him off on his next journey, we are also excited to see the success he has on this new journey in life… even if he did give us a hard time smiling. 😉
